Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in TeX/LaTeX typesetting or in Word Processor (i.e. Microsoft Word, OpenOffice Writer, or LibreOffice Writer) file format.
  • Where available, URLs and/or DOIs for the references have been provided.
  • Please write the manuscript according to the template.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.

Author Guidelines

Writing should be submitted according to the following restrictions:
  • Manuscript should be written in English and be submitted online via journal website. Online submission will be charged at no cost. An author must login in order to make submission.
  • Manuscripts content should be arranged as the following order: Title, Author(s) Name and Institutions, Abstract, Introduction, Method or Design, Results and Discussion, Conclusion, Acknowledgment, and References.
  • Omega: Jurnal Fisika dan Pendidikan Fisika uses TeX/LaTeX typesetting system for its article writing (template can be downloaded here). Nevertheless, the author(s) can also use Word Processor (i.e. Microsoft Word, OpenOffice Writer, or LibreOffice Writer). Please kindly the article is made similar to the pdf format in the template.
  • Graphics should be plotted by using a scientific visualisation software (i.e. pgfplot LaTeX, gnuplot, or similar).
  • Mathematical equation should be clearly written, numbered orderly, and accompanied with any information needed.
  • Citation and reference are written according to the Bibliography Management System with Bibtex. Citations numbering should be numbered in [1], [2], [3], ... format, according to appearance order.
  • The board is authorised to reject a manuscript based on peer reviewer advice and make a necessary changes or adjustment related with language properties without altering the substance. Substance editing would be consulted with the corresponding author.
